Back To Beige

Whilst Barbiecore is still having a moment, Neon Green is fighting for the top spot, and so many other highlighter colours trying to steal our attention, it’s Beige that’s still standing out.

Sure, shades of sand, bronze, camel and khaki might sound meh in theory, but it’s the non boring neutrals, ruffles, cutout, and shiny designs which won’t be soon forgotten.

They have all the right “touch and feel” aspects, with suede sneakers, comfy training socks, leatherette skirts, a cozy fleece short sleeve and textured buttons up, that you won’t want to wear anything else.

In saying that, there’s no need to dish out cash on expensive pieces, you’ll wear for maybe two months of the years.

~Instead, opt for good quality transeasonal knits, you can wear all year round.

~Think about whether it will be a great layering piece, which can be worn a multitude of ways.

~Question where you’ll wear it, whether it’ll keep you cool and chic, and does it work with your existing wardrobe pieces

And finally,

~Can you wear these pieces with skinny jeans and a fitted tank; Thrown over active wear; Belted and accessorised with statement pieces, or even with a flowy summer tank.

Once you’ve answered these questions, you’ll have a better grasp on what non boring neutrals you need in your life. And if you’re still stuck, slide into my DMs for a more personalised styling experience.
