Disposable

In today's society, many people have adopted a disposable mindset, with a focus on buying new items and quickly disposing of old, worn, or ill-fitting clothing.

However, it's important to rethink our choices and consume less. Instead of constantly buying new clothes, we should focus on curating a functional and versatile wardrobe, identifying missing key pieces, decluttering and organizing our space, and learning how to accessorize and wear our existing clothes in new ways.

To make our clothing last longer and reduce waste, we should prioritize quality over quantity, choose well-constructed garments that can work for any season or occasion, read care instructions, opt for natural fibers or deadstock, purchase local and Australian-made, and repurpose, recycle or replace old worn pieces.

By treating our clothes like the best friends they are, we can create a more sustainable and responsible fashion industry.
