Destination Shopping 101... Bali, Indonesia.

During my recent girly getaway for some much needed winter warmth and serious shopping, I found myself a little underwhelmed by the options of same same but different knick-knacks, textiles and travel memorabilia.

 

However, I was somewhat impressed by the luxe linens, handmade leather goods and local art I found.

 

Island aromas of hibiscus rose and coconut lime, infused with fantastic customer services and infectious eagerness to please, almost made me go a little Carrie Bradshaw (and bought the whole island) but I reframed - huh? I never said that - and purchased a few, I just can't stop thinking about you!! pieces.

 

The lace and linen may have been a little exxy, but they were hand sewn, from a small stock run and helped support the local business owners and economy. Totally worth the investment I say!!
