Finding the PERFECT Pair

So after squeezing my somewhat voluptuous derrière in to soo many pairs of jeans and scrutinising my bootay, belly and thighs in each and every one of them, it’s safe to say I’ve got the high and low on finding the perfect pair of jeans. I’ve taken the guess work out of this huge (ass) task and here it is...

UNIVERSAL STORE

is the denim destination, well so I was told!! offering Nobody Jeans ($199.00) which are made is Melbourne Aus!!! and have equal parts elastane and denim. They really do fit like a glove and the elastane allows ease of dressing. They mould to your body and feel like a jegging. Alternatively A.Brand Jeans ($99.95) show a lighter wash and feel like traditional crisp denim. Stiff to pull up but eventually warm and move with your body and hone a real mum jean look.

JEANS WEST

offer some great jeans for slimming the waistline and have a great skinny leg alternative (Free Form 360 prices at $129.00). If you want a slim or straight leg jean which skims over those mama curves try The Tummy Trimmer prices at $79.99.

WITCHERY

does denim well with the Frankie Raw Hem ($119.95) this season. Plain, simple, classic, chic!!

SPORTSGIRL

has the Booty Shaping Skinny Jean ($69.95) are for those who want an instant lift, and who doesn’t want that right? These jeans do, however, sit a little short and barely touch my ankles.

ZARA

has so many lengths and washes and buttons and pockets and stretch oh my!! They’re pretty inexpensive but I feel they may not last as long as some of the other brands. My pick The 80s High Waist Jean in Sunset Blue, with its mustard stitching fitted my bootay like a glove and again not badly priced at $69.95. Or opt for the Bi-stretch Jeans ($69.95) in Blue has a darker wash, sits super high and has a good amount of stretch. Both pairs were longer in the legs and sat neatly in my ankles.

I was also informed about zip locking jeans and putting them in the freezer. This process apparently helps to kill germs, reducing the need for excess washing and actually maintains the longevity of the jeans. Crazy right!?? Who would have thought I’d learn so much on this merry adventure. And I hope you do too.

Happy hunting X
